Rose – Sports Physiotherapist & Running Injury Specialist

Rose qualified with an MSc (hons) from St George’s University, London, in 2016. She has extensive experience in the management of lower limb injuries to include tendinopathies, stress fractures, knee and ankle injuries. Rose works with runners and athletes across Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden and South West London and is dedicated to getting you back on track with your fitness goals.

Rose has a specialist interest in the management of tendon injuries and stress fractures. She has published research into the diagnosis and management of tendon injuries and has a wealth of experience in providing bespoke return to run programmes for injured athletes. Rose believes that having a good understanding of your injury and the underlying factors that contributed to the injury are fundamental in ensuring long term self-management.

Rose has extensive experience working in both the private and NHS sector. She is able to refer on for imaging as required and discuss imaging results with you. As a runner herself, she can provide specialist advice on running gait and running shoe selection. She is a coached athlete competing in middle distance running events from 5km – half marathons.

Jen – Physiotherapist for Runners and Endurance Athletes

Jen qualified with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham in 2012. Over the past 13 years she has gained a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of upper and lower limb injuries and has worked both in the NHS and private practise. This includes working closely with orthopaedic teams and being involved in the development of pre and post operative rehabilitation protocols following achilles tendon ruptures and hip and knee arthroscopy surgery.

Jen firmly believes ‘knowledge is power’ and therefore endeavours to help her clients understand the underlying cause of their injury in order to help prevent further injuries occurring. She incorporates a combined approach of hands-on assessment with evidence-based exercise prescription. Jen will work alongside you to help devise a strength and conditioning program to suit your needs and goals and is also acupuncture trained offering dry needling as an adjunct to your physiotherapy treatment where appropriate. Jen is also able to refer on for imaging as required and can discuss imaging results with you.

In her spare time Jen is a competitive triathlete and has secured several podium finishes in middle distance triathlon. She is also a triathlon and running coach and has a lot of experience working closely with athletes to help them rehabilitate back into their chosen sport.
