Where appropriate, we can also arrange referral for imaging to assist with diagnosis and guide management.
As part of your bespoke treatment plan, we focus on effective load management — modifying activities to promote bone healing while helping you maintain fitness and stay active throughout rehabilitation. We can also advise on suitable cross-training options, including swimming and cycling, to support recovery without excessive bone stress.
Through a detailed physical assessment, we identify muscular weaknesses, movement patterns, and biomechanical factors that may contribute to increased bone strain. As healing progresses and you enter the return-to-sport phase, we provide a structured, individualised return-to-running or sporting programme to help you resume activity safely and reduce the risk of recurrence.
